Virtuoso Espresso wins #15 of the best coffees of 2015

January 19, 2016

We recently submitted our Virtuoso Espresso to Coffee Review to see how it would hold up against a panel of experts to get their thoughts on our rendition of this classic European style espresso with our own personal twist added to it. Needless to say we were very happy to find out that they loved it as much as we did, by giving it 94 point score. On top of that this coffee was awarded #15 of the best coffees of 2015!

Our goal when creating this coffee was to ensure it had the same richness and body that we all grew up having, but with a slight new twist. This coffee is a three bean blend from three different countries. These coffees traveled approximately 17,000 miles for us to create the flavor profile for what you taste in the cup.  As for roasting, each one of these unique coffees was treated very differently to bring out the best of its own distinctive characteristics: one for body and richness; one for the the deep chocolate notes; and the other (which is my personal favorite) for the subtle citrus notes that make this blend stand out from the rest.

We hope you all enjoy this coffee as much as we did developing it.
