Finca Santa Adelaida is collectively run by approximately 180 members from over 50 families. Before 1982, the farm was family owned and operated, but after reform programs, the land was broken up and sold to the families that had been working the land. The soil is well drained and volcanic and the varieties are 90% Bourbon, 10% Pacas. It is certified organic and Rainforest Alliance and processed in the traditional washed method, then dried on cement patios.
Tasting Notes: Chocolate and pipe tobacco fragrance with a light floral aroma and notes of green melon, raspberry, and cocoa.
Certifications: Organic, Rainforest Alliance
Some of the ways we love to enjoy this coffee at home are the French Press and the Chemex.
