Her newest location, Cucina Enoteca, located in the Flower Hill Plaza in Del Mar, is the sister restaurant of Cucina Urbana, Fish Public, and Cucina Enoteca Irvine. An incredible menu created by Chef Andrew Bachelier features incredible Gnocci Neri with Maine lobster, peas, chili mint emulsion, and delicious Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms with herbed ricotta, opal basil pesto, and cured lemon aioli. All ingredients are locally sourced where their dining team can get it – Suzie’s farm, Crows Pass farm, Bread & Cie, Sadie Rose Bakery, Go Green Organic, Baker & Olive, and Assenti’s Pasta. Social Saturdays incorporates their social media networks with special surprises for customers who say the magic password to their servers.
Borkum believes in spreading the wealth to her community that continues its unwavering support; a portion of Cucina house creation wine is donated to various charities of the month and “Movember” – manly month of November, allows customers to purchase chocolate mustaches for donations prostate cancer research.
