Subterranean Coffee Boutique is a local gem in North Park where locals flock to for delicious Virtuoso coffee, great conversation, and a comfortable working environment. Owners Kelsey and Gene have created a hip cafe space that features local artists on the walls and handmade jewelry at the counter. They love striking up conversations with their regulars, most of them are super intelligent young people working on dissertations and interesting projects. Gene has been in the coffee industry, managing cafes for over ten years when he decided with Kelsey that they would love to open up their own.
They offer gluten free and vegan pastry options as well as delicious sandwiches.
Currently regulars are sipping on our new Colombia coffee, our first wholesale account to serve this special coffee. Subterranean rotates out their coffee origin selection each week and surprises customers with creative drinks such as the Subterranean Dirt – a blended yummy with ice cream, espresso grounds, mexican chocolate, and goodness.
October 4th marks their first year anniversary! Come celebrate with them with a visit to their cafe! Subterranean also hosts North Park’s Monthly Movie every first Monday of the month as well as live music and art weekly!
